BRAN is a non-membership networking company that hosts recurring mixer events in South Florida. Our constituents consist of professionals in various industries looking to establish and strengthen business relationships. We host unique events in exciting venues to aid in a relaxing atmosphere for optimal comfort and ease of connecting with like-minded individuals.
Since our establishment in 2019, hundreds of professionals, business owners, and entrepreneurs have benefitted from our networking events. We have facilitated powerful bonds with many individuals and remain in touch with them regularly, providing additional resources and insights surrounding business expansion, relationship building, and networking.
2. COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION The two forms of information collected on sites like ours are Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Non-Personally Identifiable Information (Non-PII). PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (PII) Information such as phone numbers, postal addresses, credit card numbers, names, payment account numbers, and health information (For disabled seating requests) are all considered personally identifiable information. Chat rooms, forums, and the submission of comments may also contain PII, but we do not use or collect this PII information from those sources. IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (NON-PII) Non-PII is not a way to personally identify an individual using a site but rather to provide demographic information. For example, a 25-year-old man who is a broker and is interested in meeting people in the real estate industry is considered a non-PII. Generally, Non-PII information is collected through; pixel tags and other forms of technology, weblogs, IP addresses, cookies, and additional non-PII information. BRAN contains this type of information to collect data and provide services.
A) Pixel Tags: Pixel tags are electronic images not usually apparent to anyone using the site. Pixel tags can also be associated with a visitor's cookies on their hard drive. The primary purpose of a pixel tag is to count how many users have visited specific pages on our site, determine the effectiveness of campaigns, and deliver effective services.
B) IP Addresses: The internet service provider provides each computer with its unique IP address. Members and visitors accessing our site provide us with your web browser, computer system details, service provider, and mobile operating system.
C) Cookies: Cookies stay on your computer and contain data that allows us to see and recognize how a previous user uses our site. If you do not wish to have data collected via cookies, you can often modify the preferences on your browser.
D) Non-PII Provided Voluntarily: Industry preferences and geographic locations are considered non-PII voluntary information when provided to us. This type of voluntary information aids in the customization of your experience towards getting in contact with professionals you are interested in connecting with. Since Non-PII information does not personally identify you with third parties, we may use this information at our discretion.
BRAN works with third-party sites to collect varying forms of information to recognize each user across all different platforms and channels. These platforms can include but are not limited to, mobile devices and computers for analytics, advertising, and reporting purposes. Our partners can deliver ads to your web browser for a purchase made physically in a retail store. If you have visited a specific website, our partners may send you a personalized marketing email.

DISCLOSING PERSONAL INFORMATION BRAN may disclose your information if required by law or if in good faith; we believe it is necessary to do for any of the following actions: (a) To defend and protect the rights of BRAN, (b); To support and safeguard BRAN property; (c) To comply with the law or legal processes; (d) To protect our users and employee's safety. 5. SECURING PERSONAL INFORMATION Secure Socket Layers (SSL) protect our user's personal information transmitted through other sites. They do this through the process known as encryption.
7. OPTING OUT At BRAN, your privacy will always be respected, so we allow our users to opt out of receiving our announcements or to ask that we delete or not sell your personal information. 9. DELETING OR UPDATING INFORMATION All information a user deletes, updates, or accesses can be modified. However, information that has been deleted may reside in our archival records database. PII collected by BRAN will be used to uphold the integrity of our site and deliver services.
